In the post-pandemic resurgence of life, Mela and Carol decided to seal their love on a day full of joy and meaning.

I have known these two women for years, so imagine my excitement to learn that they trusted me to capture the most special moments of their wedding. Not only would it be an immense privilege to witness their union, but it would also mark a milestone in my career, being the first wedding I would photograph after the long period of seclusion.

We decided to go to the Retiro park, in Madrid, a place where nature and tranquillity merge, allowing us to enjoy a relaxed and authentic atmosphere. There, among hundred-year-old trees and the gentle murmur of the water, we surrendered to the magic of the moment. Freed from their masks, Mela and Carol radiated happiness and complicity, and this was reflected in every photograph we took.

It was a day of laughter, dancing, kisses and complicit looks. We captured every moment with our hearts, knowing that these images would be eternal witnesses of a love that transcends adversity.
Seeing them together, so radiant and in love, was a reminder that love always finds its way, even in the most difficult of times.

For me, this wedding represented not only the beginning of a new post-pandemic era, but also the renewal of hope and the certainty that moments of happiness are always within reach, waiting to be celebrated with all the love in the world.
